While clearly some progress has been made with race relations, most believe there is still work to do. Changing laws are important but will never be successful if those who are enforcing the laws don’t agree with the spirit of the law. I believe we generally fail to understand some basics of human behavior and this is why we keep making the same mistakes when trying to address racism.
